MADRID -- Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio will arrive in Iran on an official visit to hold bilateral talks with Iranian senior officials and discuss details of Spanish financial aid to Iraqi refugees.

The Spanish government will grant Turkey, Iran, Syria and Jordan 20 million euros in aid (to be divided evenly) to assist the Iraqi refugees.

According to IRNA, the Spanish minister visited Turkey and Jordan earlier last week.
